Just got car today . . . clear bra now? or after detail?
Just picked up my special order IS350 today in nashville. They tried getting me to get that "paint protection" but i figured that wasnt worth my time. Should I go ahead and get a clear bra now? Or should i get a good detail in before i put the bra on?
Please anyone with info respond because if im gonna go ahead and get the bra i need to call early tomorrow morning. Thanks guys!
By the way the car is BEAUTIFUL!!! So many buttons and gadgets i just want to sit out in the car and play around haha

I recommend to do the clear coat and clear bra both if you have no problem with $$$.
The clear coat gives you the over all sharper blink, and the clear bra gives you max protection from rock chips while saving the bling without putting up ugly bra.
I have both and I see they have different purposes!

I'm planning to return to my dealer for the cute spoiler and tinting.

Find a reputable installer, and they'll clean your car so that you don't have to the detail. Also, some cleaners/products/chemicals may affect the adhesive of the clear bra.

Clear bra right away. You don't have to have the front detailed. If you have time before the bra, go and wax and apply a paint 'Sealent' if you like. The paint protection from Lexus is just that, granted they get a better commercial grade sealent.
Pick mine up tomorrow and Clear Bra on Wednesday. Minimal driving of course.
