Long-time reader, but first post.

I got white 350 because it's what they had on the lot. I really wish I had gotten black. Now have 5k on the white. How much of a hit would I take to trade? Any ideas? Thanks.

Default i did this many times

i have trading in my many cars because i was unhappy with my color choice. First time, back in 2000 when i picked up my first brand new prelude sh. I bought the car for 27,000 ended up selling for around 20,000 with about 13,000 miles. Then i went and bought the s2000 for around 36,000 didn't like that i got the yellow s2000 so i treaded it in with about 6,000 miles for a silver s2000. Got 25,000 for my car and got a brand new one for 32,000 during the trade. I ended up loosing about 13,000 or so on the trade from prelude to s2000 to s2000. It wasn't worth it. Hope that helps you. By the way, i own a black 2is now with about 5,000 wanna trade, i want the white. LOL but seriously it is a waste of money, but if you can offered to then go ahead.

I'm still on the fence on this one. I love black, but I don't want to clean either. Still considering the tungsten right now.

I do wash my car once every two weeks. I don't know if that's enough to keep a black car clean here in so cal.

Default Paint it!

The hi tech shops that are using Toyota/Lexus OEM material in KC will charge $2500, which is a smaller hit than a trade in with the instant $4,000-$5,000 depreciation that you'd encounter on a trade.

Take it to Carmax and see what they will give you for it. That will answer your question. If you paid MSRP or above when you bought your car you are going to take a big hit like 25%.

whatever color the car happens to be, when youre sitting inside and driving (which is what you bought the car to do), they'll both look the same inside ! be happy with what you have. in life one needs to be content with what they have otherwise it translates into being unhappy and miserable at all times . after 3 years u can always switch to a diferent color, for now why not enjoy what you bought ?

I regret my color choice as well. DAMN POHANKA LEXUS.

I choose GFM over CW, because I thought that GFM would be more rare... at the time, it was. Then Pohanka ordered 10GFM cars. I see them all the time now. Friggin heck.

I should Have bought CW.

Id say keep the car for a year or 2 and then trade it in. There could be upgrades that you want. Or there could be another car that you want

i350boy and asmithod should trade. It'd be cheaper to ship both cars to each other than paint them. You'd have a better paint job too.
