Out here in the Netherlands the IS is selling better than Lexus expected, still we are talking approximately 1,500 units for this year, most people with budgets to get an IS tend not look much further than Audi's, Bimmers or Mercs.
Just took a 2200 miles road trip through Europe (and drove through the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Italy) and only saw two ISs one was still on the truck. I even spotted more Lambo's and Ferrari's then ISs... making the IS250 I'm expecting nothing less than unique and exclusive (even more so than a Ferrari).... which is making me even happier for ordering one.
Hope I don't have cooper6660's problems! I'm a newby (and jumping the gun in participating) on this forum, but I cannot remember reading any posts by people that had as many problems as cooper6660 has....

The Lexus IS is selling MUCH more than the previous IS here in Sweden. The only problem is that you have to wait 4-6 months to get one! Thats why people goes to Audi or BMW, because they can get their new car in a couple of weeks.
Lexus is also pretty expensive here. An IS 250 sport with automatic costs about 48 000 dollars. BMW 325 with sporpackage costs about the same, and its more expensive than a Audi 2.0T with sportpackage.
I dont understand why they dont bring the IS 350 here.

I was recently in D.C. visiting a friend and I saw tons and tons of ISes. Most of them were 250 AWDs, which didn't make sense to me because they don't get that much snow.
