What it doesn't explain is why Lexus would keep a cork in the potential for a lot more sales. Yeah, I know exclusivity makes for more demand, but MEETING the demand is what goes to the bottomline on the financial statement.

Every dealer I've talked to tells me they could sell many more 350's if they just gets their hands on them.

So HELLO, Lexus ... !
Here in Chicago, my dealer told me that they sell 10 IS 250s for every IS 350 they sell. Also, all the 250s on the lot are either AWD (which most are) or the 6-Speed manual. An IS250 RWD with automatic is a special order which requires a non-refundable 10% down. Ouch!! He said the allocation of cars varies by region and that the snowy states get the most AWD models.

This is how they explained that they had only one 350 Demo and one on the floor and none in the lot, but they had like 12 250 AWD and 3 250 6-Speed manuals on the lot

The dealer I was at said only about 5% of IS350's have the sport pkg. That seems a bit low to me although it was hard for me to find one in Northern VA. I'd like to know what that # really is.

Seems like 90% in San Gabriel Valley area in So Cal are IS350s, while only 10% are IS250s. It seems that everyone got IS350s... I rarely see IS250s in the area.

My dealer told me 20% are the IS350s... oh wells.

He also said VN + Sports Package + GFM is near impossible... but somehow I managed to get one, but not sure how true that was either.

10%350's not true in Hawaii about 2-1/2 times that

Official Hawaii sales. IS350 ratio is pretty high here. 73% 250, 27% 350 (from date of post)

Here in AZ I see 3 to 1 in favor of the 350's!
The 250's seem scarce or maybe they're sitting on the dealers lot.

If that is true, Then 5% of 20% for all 350 means that only 1% of all ISx50's
have the sport package.
