Default Australian IS250 Differences

Hey guys,

Just picked up my is250 RWD in Oz yesterday (Sports with Option).

Does anyone know if its possible to somehow hack the Nav to respond to voice commands like the US models. When in Nav mode, and I hit the voice button, it just says voice functions not available in this mode, but they do work for the BT phone etc.

I am really bummed, cause this means I really cant control any Nav settings in the car while driving, even by voice, unless I do the hack every time.

Anyone else know of difference in the Oz/USA car. I read about all these kwl things in these forums, and then find they dont come in the Oz cars. eg. Doors autolocking at certain speed etc

I m in Hong Kong but got a Oz spec Prestige, everything seem to be the same with the US premium package so far except it dosent come with wood trim, The sports package are aint' different in Oz compare with the US, eg the seats are Alcantara Vs Perforated Leather and Heated Seats Vs Ventilated Seats, also Moonroof as option Vs standard, I think if you study lexus.com.au and lexus.com you'll know.

Matt =)

Does anyone know if its possible to get voice activation going in the car? Is it a feature they have simply turned off over here, or is it not there?
