Thanks for the factors. I just did a 36/15 lease on an IS350 for a residual of 56% and a money factor of .00255. List was $40,784. Monthly with no down (just TTL and first payment) is $595.

I might point out that the only way I got the good MF was by playing off one dealer against another. They intially swear up and down that the "best" MF they have is .00355. Meh.

What's the minimum credit score u need to be qualified for Tier 1+?

Also, how much "worse" is the MF if one qualifies for just Tier 1, 2, 3, etc.?

Between the tiers, the MF isn't that much worse. Roughly 10-20 points. I believe Tier 1+ is an Auto BEACON score of 730 and above or it could be higher. Depending on the market, Tier 1+ is only 10 points lower than Tier 1 and most likely doesn't require a security deposit as one of the pre-paids on the initiation of the lease.

Cheers,
Kermee

0.00355 is the MF on my lease that was incepted back in Nov '05. But I'm in the "Northwest" market where the LFS/TMCC lease rates are higher than CA and other high-volume/high-competition areas by about 100 points. (I've verified this independently for at least the 2IS lease rate. I'm not sure about other Lexus models). I could of sworn TX was one of them making the best lease rates on the 2IS between 0.00235 - 0.00255 (Tier 1+ and Tier 1).

Cheers,
Kermee

15/miles on that lease? The 2007's are expected in September right? Can we expect any lease deals on these cars?
