Question Latest lease factors???

Does anyone have any recent lease factors (residuals and money factors) for the 2006 IS350?

Would appreciate your posting them if you do!

TIA

Also if you could post what the terms of your lease are and what car you have with what options?

THANKS!

I gather from edmunds forums that the residual on an IS350 (3 yrs/15,000 miles) must be about 60% and the buy rate from LFS is somewhere in the .00255 - .00275 range.

But I'd sure like to get the whole spread!

I was quoted Residual of 60% and money factor of 0.0024 on a 3 year lease with a very high credit score. If your credit is below a 720 your money factor was 0.00275.

On a 2006 IS350 with LUX / Nav / ML was MSRP of $44,429 and offered at $40,000 plus TT&L with $5,000 total cash up front with a 60% residual and the 0.0024 money factor the lease was $575 ish a month.

I have decided to wait until the 2007's come out and compare it to the next generation Infinity G35 Sedan. If current pricing trends remain the G35 will MSRP significantly below the IS350 with comparable options.

Man, $5K out of pocket ad $575 a month. I was afraid of that...That's STEEP!

One thing you must take into consideration is that different states tax leases differently. In Texas you pay the sales tax on the entire car's purchase price less any trade up front. That is 6.25% X 40,000 = $2,500 plus the other fees for licensing and title, security deposit and first month lease payment it is over $3,000 before the rest goes to cap reduction. I think in the above example the cap reduction was only $1,700.

Ahhh, didn't know that. Makes me feel much better! Thanks!

So, what have others paid that are already into their lease deals? I plan to lease one in either the September to remember promotion or the December, year end sell some cars time frame...Or just wait until the buzz has died down next year...

I want an IS350, but am not dead set on a color or a load of options, so I am fortunatley flexible...Only thing that I really care about is those 306 small horses that they put under the hood...

I wouldn't say "significantly below". The current G35 with comparable options (to the extent they offer comparable options) will run you close to $38,000. That's just a couple thousand less than Premium/Nav IS350.

Default Update

Here's an update on lease afctors for the 2006 IS350:

Residual for July - 56%

Also, for Tier 1+, plus previous Lexus owner, I'm getting a money factor for a 36/15 lease in the .0032 area. Higher than I expected to see, since that's a 7.68 APR. Sheesh.

That means on a Premium + Nav (MSRP about $40,785) and a $2500 discount, the monthly - not including TTL - is about $625. with no down.

Timing is everything, I guess, since the residual was higher a month or so ago and the money factors were lower.

I think that's the same APR that I'm paying on my loan with toyota credit. I'm well above 730 and probably could have gotten something around 6% at my bank but I'm only financing $15K and I plan on paying that off in 5 more months so the delta was only about $100 in interest. I got a great deal on the car so I let it go.

It is becuase the 07's will probably start shipping in two months. So you are going to essentially take a full years depreciation in about two months. That is why the residual went down. That money factor is BS. That is why I have decided to wait for the 07's whether that is Lexus, Infinity or some other brand only time will tell.

I shopped lease rates within different Lexus models, Audi, BMW and Benz.

Lexus 2IS consistently had the highest money factor of any vehicle on the market today. The MF on my lease is 0.003+. Friend's E90 330i MF on his lease (same terms, same credit tier of 1+) was 0.00095 (sub 0.001). You do the math.

Lexus also has different lease rates for the 2IS in different markets (i.e. Northwest market is generally 100 points higher than CA market).

Cheers,
Kermee

Long and short of all of this lease rate info: What are people paying for their leased cars?

How many months:
How many miles:
Money down:
Monthly payment:
IS350 or IS250 with options listed:

This would help me TREMENDOUSLY! You gotta go to the fight with some bullets right. If you go to a dealership blind, generally you walk out and feel robbed...

As of 7/9, my money factor was 0.00255 with a credit score of 790. Residual was 58% for 36 mos. 12/k mi. per yr. There is no break for 10k mi. per yr. There is also no break for 39 mo. deal.
