XM satellite installation - Lexus tech bulletin
Mods, feel free to put this in a tech section (if one exists)...I will continue to host the images indefinitely.
I'm posting this for those who may decide to purchase the XM kit and install it themselves. Please note that it IS NOT NECESSARY to follow the step instructing you to use the template to install the antenna on the side of the trunk; feel free to improvise and either put it in the center of the trunk lid or inside the rear hat shelf if you so desire.

thanks for posting that! That is very helpful. I really do need to find a truthful answer as to why they want the antenna in such an ugly location.
My concern is that if I insist they put it in a different place then if it leaks or gets bad reception I can't really complain.
