find out how much a stock steering wheel is. might be cheap enoguh to just buy it and send it off and then replace the stock one with it. you could hten re-sell it to anyone else who might want to get it done. then you'll have no down time

ya ur right .. now i just need to find out which company can do that .. so i can send the steering wheel.

I would never swap out my OEM steering wheel because of all the electronics connected to it as well as the Airbag. Its just not worth it.

But I would love it if Lexus would make it an option.

if the wood steering wheel is actually being manufactured for the 2is in japan... then couldn't you just buy that part and replace your leather steering wheel with it???

its not all 1 piece. i bet its really not that difficult to remove the steering wheel.

Seriously though i would like to have a wood steering as well.
I didn't get a chance to get one for my benz so i'm definately looking for this.after all i'll have this
car for the next five years.

Looks like the one in the new Hyundai Azera.

haha nah cause our wood steering wheel still has the Lexus emblem on it. So unless ur blind there is no comparsion between a Hyundai and a Lexus steering wheel. Well man i guess its ur own opinion and i cant argue with that.
