I have been shopping around for the '06 IS250 AWD w/Nav option in the Northeast area mostly through the email so far. The best price I have gotten is $35, 271 + TTL, approx 2k off MSRP. (MSRP $37,425 / INVOICE $32,926).
Do you guys think this a good price for the '06? Should I hold out a little longer? Could I get the '07 for about the same? ($35,271 +TTL) if so I will hold out till then
. (Need car by Oct./Nov.)
thanks!

I live in New York and I'm shopping around for the same exact vehicle. I've received a deal from Ray Catena Lexus for an MSRP of $37619 and purchase price of $34725. Thats $2894 off. Also Lexus of Manhattan quoted me MSRP- $37425 and a purchase price of $34726 which is $2699 off. My best deal has been from Dave Mcdermott Lexus in CT. $37619 -$3000 off = $34619 and that was in June. I will be leasing it the 1st or 2nd week in August so I plan to try to get another couple hundred off.

Going to Rallye tomorrow. So far they are my best deal, and were generally nice to deal with thru internet. Hopefully in person I'll do a little bit better.
Also going to Smithtown dealer. Has anyone ordered the '07 model of the IS250 AWD and what kind of pricing were you able to get?

Sorry to revive this thread again. But help/opinion/input is appreciated.
Today, I test drove IS250 AWD, Crystal white ext on black interior.
It is a used 06 with 2,500 miles on odo plus NAV option but WITHOUT luxury package.
Love the car!
However, there is a 2.5 inch length scratch (and a small dent on top of that sratch) on the right front panel of the vehicle, near the headlight.. IMHO, the scratch is deep (through the clear coat) and I dont think it will easily buff off. A dent removal job + localized repaint is -perhaps- required. The title is clear (carfax) and there is no problem with the vehicle at all. Drive nicely, no leak and all checks out by Lexus.
The dealer is asking for $34,995.
I offered him $32,500 as my first offer.
The sales guy went to see his mgr, came out and did not even bother to counter my 1st offer. He said that they can not match my first offer and then silent.

I gave him my business card, told him to call me when he is more willing to deal and then left.
Did i do something wrong? I like this IS, but since it is a used vehicle + dent and scratch + '07 is coming out soon + reading above posts what "reasonable" deals are, I think my first offer is a good starting point. Yes?
Thank you in advance.

I just bought an IS250 AWD with NAV at Ray Catena Lexus in Monmouth, NJ. It was a great experience, no hassles or pushy salesman. I got the exterior/interior colors that I wanted. They have many color options to choose from. Here's the best part:
MSRP = 37,714
My Price= 34,625
That's a discount of over 3000!!
My sales consultant, Joel Cohen, was awesome! He's the internet associate too. So all you have to do is go to edmunds.com or carsdirect.com and click Ray Catena of monmouth for a dealer quote, and Joel will contact you the next business day. Just mention my name Gary, and Joel will take of you like he did with me.
