Default yet another SMG is350 (56lk friendly)

I felt it was finally ok to post pics of the car, as I now have it where I have wanted it for so long.
So it took awhile to get some pics, I was waiting for a few things to come in.
I previously owned a Subaru STi, a black and carbon kevlar'd show car with some extra ponies. That car went bye-bye a few months ago. I have since ordered a Lexus, yay! I must say, I do miss the STi, but the Lexus is another car entirely, and I love it. Anyway, stock couldn't be that way for long. I have since added a Tanabe exhaust (very quiet), Eibach springs, Volk Progressive ME wheels (19 x 8 f / 19 x 9.5 r) and the BFG KDW tires (235 f / 265 r). I'm waiting on K&N to finish production on thier intake, but other than that, i'm content with the outcome of the first stage of the car.

Greg

Nice car--those rims are sick. I've been looking at those since I saw them on the INGS+1 car a while back. Do you mind if I ask you how much you got the Progressiv ME's for? Where did you get them?

EDIT: Thought of a couple of other questions:

1) What offsets did you use?
2) Do you have Face 1 on the fronts and Face 2 on the rears?
3) Do you have any rubbing issues?
4) Did you have any issues with fitment of the TPMS modules in the wheels? (I've heard rumor that Volks and the TPMS modules don't jive...)

Thanks. I'd rather not post the cost. They retail for around $800ish, but you can definately find much cheaper. I would suggest contacting Mackin directly for the wheels.

1) +43 front, +45 rear
2) yes
3) minor rubbing in the front, but not bad enough for me to heat up the lining, ...yet
4) no TPMS issues, one piece Volks can use the sensors, two piece can not

Thanks for the information, Greg

I was going to contact Mackin directly as well, but I thought I might be able to work a better deal through one of their distributors.

Good to know about the TPMS modules, too

very nice, very clean. Question is i know you said 235 front 265 rear. is it 235/35 front and 265/30 rear or 265/35 rear. You rub with that offset? On the inside then right. Thanks and very hot ride again.

265/30 rear, ...the 275 was too big with the BFG tire, and it wasn't available. No rubbing (in the rear)

Did you put the vinyl on the inside or outside of the headlight?

Your car looks great, Greg. How long did it take for Mackin to send you the correct face? I remember they had sent you the wrong ones a while back ago.
