So I bought the HID H11 bulbs. I already had the kit from my last car so all I needed was new bulbs. I went to install them and there seems to be a slight difference in length. I can get the HID bulbs to sit, but I cannot get a firm catch on the teeth. It catches, but I am afraid that the difference in length will break the bulb or housing when I secure it. It does not go on as easy as installing the non HID. Below are pictures of both bulbs. There is a 1/8 th of a inch difference between the two from the teeth to the tip. Is this length really a big deal? Is the HID bulbs too long for the housing? Anyone else run in to this?
Thanks!!

If I remember correct, the actual bulb length was of NO consequence, all that matters is that the filiment of the tungsten bulb and the gas pocket on the hid are in the same net location yeilding the same focus on the projector.....so I think youll be ok
