I just installed some interior LED dome lights in my IS, and now when I hit the unlock button on my key fob, the rear dome light doesn't come on to "invite me in" like before. Has anyone else encountered this?

Alright Guys,

Here's what I found from tinkering with every combination of swapping positive and negative ends....

The rear dome light has two bulbs, one in front of the other. So I've not got it so that when I hit the key fob, only the rear bulb turns on to "invite me in". When I open the door, the front bulb rear dome light comes on instantly and will shut off when I close the door. I was hoping that both lights would stay on period when I hit the key fob, but after switching the both bulbs with each other...I found that it is only the rear dome bulb that comes on when you hit the unlock switch on the key fob.

Please let me know if this is different for you guys.

Thanks again guys for the advice and feedback.

philips ds4 -- i got mine off xenonking.com, they gave me a discount because i had bought an hid kit off them a few years ago for my acura, well the bulbs went out cuz ofa faulty installation, regardless, i changed my car and they had my kit sitting there w/ them, i asked them to send me the low beams for the lexus, and send me the kit back w/ the 9006bulbs for the fogs

Anyone here with IS-F tails and changed the amber bulb to LEDs? I need a replacement. The vleds turn signal LEDs blinks a lot faster than normal it's kinda annoying. Oddly enough, hazard works fine.

i run vleds leds in my rear turns and yes it does blink faster, they have a led in-line resistor on their site to stop this, they have 2 with diff amps loads, which is the 'best' one i dont know, i like the fast blink so i've never bothered trying to find out which is better.
