Does anyone know if these 194 replacements will fit for replacing the under the rear view mirror lights?

sorry i dont understand what you mean 'under the rear view mirror' as there is no lights 'under' the mirror, the dome lites or the vanity mirror lites? Dome lites yes, vanity mirror lites you'll want flank type bulbs.

*please read this entire thread as it will explain all*

i think he means the puddle lights underneath the right and left rear view mirrors, not the rear view mirror inside the car.

If your refering to the puddle lights in the side rear view mirrors then yes those will fit

those will also fit the front dome lights

make sure you get the package that includes the capacitor modules

well i hear sometimes the polarity is reversed and sometimes instead of pointing down the flanks will point up... which is pointless. i didn't realize that before i bought mine and luckily mine where both pointing down. its not that expensive, 10 bucks for a pair maybe? the flanks are alot brighter though since its just pointing in one direction. but if you want to play it safe just got those 360 degree ones.

edit: yikes those are kinda expensive for leds, 20 bucks a pair. but those things will be hella bright

http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...68709-1-2.html this one might be better, more leds and its cheaper too

ya that's what i meant, thanks!

I'm sure LEDs aren't going to be as good as halogen/incandescent for dimming, but anyone have any personal experience with v-leds 194 bulbs in terms of their ability to dim? i've heard mixed things plus they have so many difference 194 replacements it's hard to keep it straight. i'm referring to the one i linked to, the 4led 2w flank.

Those should work, the link u posted up top. Stay away from the large ones since its for ur side mirrors/puddle lights.

Ok well I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere so I'll post this info in case it's of use to anyone.

The 2010 ISx50's that have the Lexus Enform, only have 2 194 bulbs in the front dome light. Also, I purchased a bunch of flank style LEDs from v-leds (excellent service by the way.. i ordered from v-leds a day after ordering stuff from kbcarstuff/xenondepot, and i've already had my v-led stuff for a day or two and kbcarstuff/xenondepot has yet to even process my order much less ship it).

Anyway, flank style does not work for these whereas I believe it would have worked for prior models.

I also did not see it explained clearly enough in some DIY's.. removing the screws from under the sunglass holder is easy, but after that, grab the rear-side of the housing, work your fingers in and yank down hard on one side and then the other.. the diys i read made some mention of "clips" but most "clips" will break if you yank on them.. this isn't a clip, it's more of a silicone plug, you can't break it.. yank hard and it will come off. to replace, you need to pull off the silicone plug from where it is on the roof, using a flat-head and some fingerwork.. then ones you get the silicone plug off, slide the plug into the housing and then snap it back into place on the roof.. if you just try to push the housing onto the silicone plug, it's impossible.

i would buy the new 9005 and modules separately instead of the package, the new bulbs are brighter.

i too was considering the new 2x brighter ones, since they're brighter, and also because it only has 28 instead of 68 leds.

For those with the 68 leds, do they give off the 'disco ball' effect in real life? And do they give off the 'bug eye' look when off?

the only thing holding me back on the new 2x brighter ones is the fact that you need to run relay harness or switch out the fuse to a higher current one in order to be safe. Plus i haven't been able to get an answer from vleds on how many relay harness to run (1 takes care of both sides, or 1 on each side). Anyway, see the following discussion in the 3GS forum

u have the other alternative for the front dome lights. just use a credit card and slide it inside the white lens cover and pop it off to expose the lights and switch them. the flanks was meant for the puddle lights on ur side mirrors. if u want domes u have to use the 194 bulb click here

its kind of easy but my problem is taking the black trunk cover off. i get all the black plastic tabs off but that yellow or green hook wont let go of the cover. all u have to do is take the tabs off and take off the cover, and u will pretty much have access to the lights on the license plate. i quit after a couple of attempts to take the cover off, that yellow hook wasn't letting go of the cover.
