phew! spent a few hours a day the previous 2 days to finish reading all 58 pages of this thread!
from 2006 to 2010! 4 full years this thread's been running!
i'll be getting my '10 IS250 the day after and plan to do a few minor lighting mods to begin with!
as people on the thread has recommended.. i'll be getting the following:
2 x puddle lights: http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...68086-1-2.html
2 x courtesy (gonna buy the clear doors too), 2 x vanity lights (thought of using the same ones as the puddle lights but afraid they'd be too bright): http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...-p5168709.html
3x front dome (still not sure if i should get refractors so i won't see 3 bright dots, but people say refractors won't fit): http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/C...81039-1-2.html
1 x rear dome (not sure if this will fit, please let me know if this isn't a good choice): http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/C...-p7381012.html
1x trunk light: http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...-p8200027.html
hope my research and list can point some beginners like me in a good start off direction! and please for those of you who have had years of experience modding, if you may correct me with your better suggestions if there are better LEDs out there to choose from
i've thought about getting polarg LEDs but heard they weren't as bright as the 2W flank LEDs? although they dim smoother..
any LEDs that are as bright as the 2W and dim as smooth as the OEM bulbs?
btw, i've always wondered what the max watt i can put into the lights
is 2 watt the max? i have seen higher watts on these small LED bulbs tho

^ Read this: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...de-w-pics.html.
Your front dome, rear dome and trunk choices aren't ideal. Refractors don't look good in the front dome IMO, because it causes weird shadows to appear. You'd be better off with a downward firing LED. That rear dome you chose won't fit without modification, better off getting 2 festoons (see the thread I linked to). The trunk isn't ideal either, not as bright as it can be.

i have a 06 is 350. Can you give a few tips on changing out fog light bulbs. Changing the headlight bulbs went smoothly. If anyone needs a few tips. I will be glad to send them your way

Hi guys i have a 2010 IS250 Breakwater blue. On brociouz guide about LED replacement guide. The puddle lights are pointing inwards and this is due to the connector on the puddle lights that comes at an angle. IS there a type of vled light that can make this pointing downward even the connector is at an angle. If there is can you give me a link on it. Another follow up question and asking for your suggestions, since my is color is breakwaterblue, do you recommend WHITE or BLUE interior lighting and puddles, i just want to ask for your suggestions, thanks a lot guys.

^ Not sure I understand your question, but the ones I linked to in my guide are flank LEDs, so when they're installed they point straight down like they're supposed do. I'd probably go with a 6000K white on your color car. Blue LEDs on light blue paint might look funny.
