So basically, the V-LED 6K colored bulbs will be brighter than the LED panels that some vendors sell? I bought V-LED bulbs in the past, but blue. I got tired of them and then bought a set of 6K LEDs from Precision LED but theyre not as bright as the LED panels that my buddy has in his Accord.
I can't speak for other vendors, I was just saying that I like the downward-firing design better. Maybe it's just my borderline-OCD, but I don't like mounting lights with adhesive tape and wires snaking around. When the light shoots downward, you are getting maximum effectiveness since no light is wasted shooting up and to the sides of the dome enclosure.

From the panels I tested, the V-LEDs that I used were the brightest, but the panels come close and there may very well be panels out there that are even brighter.

The Lexus IS LED dome light kit that we sell will come with 5 leds. You will get 2 LED panels and 3 LED bulbs to upgrade the interior map and dome lights on the IS. Here are some pics:

Look what came in the mail today..

XenonDepot went over and above with shipping these bulbs. Inside the box was a padded UPS envelope with the bulb package tucked neatly away.

Yes, these are the single LED units (not the flank ones). I didn't realize there were flank LED bulbs, and by the time I found them, I had already placed my order. Still, I'm pretty happy with the outcome! And if worse comes to worse and I want more light, I'll just swap these into the interior somewhere, haha.

Quick comparison.. the automatic settings on my cell throw the colors off a little bit, and I think I forgot to turn the light off in the second pic.

Thanks to Steve aka XenonDepot!! I'll take some better quality pictures another time.

Any year. The IS-F tails are the same '08-'13.

Anyone know of a good bulb or many LED's would be good to actually improve the vision when reversing when looking through the navigation?

This one, which I have on my car, works quite well: http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/P...26829-1-2.html

I was going to buy those but I found a reverse light HID kit for like $75 I think it was. It works great and it's really bright.

For the lights under the mirror, will like a 28SMD bulb work or do they need to be small to fit?

There's really not much to it. There's 2 small ballasts, and the bulbs. The bulbs have a rubber grommet around them so they stay in the housing by pressure. It works perfectly and everything fits under the trunk lining. Super easy to install.

With that said, no I don't have pics lol.
