You sure it reads 140? That's borderline race tires if it is. R compunds are anywhere from 50-100 treadwears. My autox tires on my last car was 200 treadwear. The stock michelins on my car are 280.

The absolute number doesn't mean a lot. OEM BS RE92s are a 160 treadwear and lots of people get 30k+ miles out of them on a Scion tC. They're crap, but they do last. The BS S-03s on my Supra have a 220 rating, but they're lucky to last even 20k in the rear.
Also, the numbers are almost completely meaningless between brands. There is no government standard tire against which all others are measured. Wear is only meaningful within the same tiremaker.

Yeah, I got that. On some of them. Others have Dunlops. Pure luck of the draw. They come in on the car and the dealer has nothing to say about it except the car has black tires. I've been through this discussion a few times and I have friends who sell Scion. It's all luck, except the performance of the tires is pretty much the same regardless of the brand.

I have the same Bridgestones you have, with the 140 rating. It's a rule of thumb that you can add a couple of zeros and get a rough idea of the tread life, so you (and I) can expect maybe 14,000 miles or so out of them. unless, of course, you drive aggressively.
The Dunlops, on the other hand, are rated (I think) at 240, so the lucky people who got them will go an extra 10,000 miles before they have to visit the tire store.
I personally plan to go with some performance all-season tires when these wear out, so I have about a year to use these up and figure out what to replace them with, I guess.

what a let down.. only 14000 on these tires.. definitelly gonna get tires with double the tread life.. its not like these re050s are cheap either..
plus we can't even rotate these tires.. isn't it 18x8 front and 18x8.5 in back?? lol.. sigh

Due to the issues Lexus had with the Dunlops, they pulling to the right was mainly attributed to the tires.
The last batch of '06's came out with the re050 instead, and most dealers are replacing the dunlops with the re050.
Hence why some got Dunlops, and some got Bridgestone's. I got my Dunlops replaced with Bridgestones at my 5k service due to weak sidewalls on the dunlops (pulling to the right).
The treadwear varies from manufacturer to manufacturer...so take that number with a grain of salt.
In my first gen, I had re040's the predecessor to the re050. They also had a tread rating of 140. Even auto-x'ng at least once a month, they lasted me 20K miles.
The SO3's with a higher tread wear only lasted me 15K miles.

The 050's are a great street performance tire. I got about 20K out of the rears on my 330i and S2000. The fronts, a bit more.
All depends on how you drive. If you jack-rabbit start every time, and beat the crap out of the car, expect them to last, probably, less than 10K miles.
