I traded in my 01 silverstone s2k for the rx400h. I miss driving that car at wot @ 9000 rpm
I like IS350 but find it a little small on the inside. I'll probaly get a gs450h instead.

Came from two s2ks, a MY00 berlina black and a MY05 GPW. I loved the cars and still do. I got the IS because its my daily driver and I love it. But dont get it twisted, it is def not as fun as the S. And you def wont get any stares driving the IS, like you probably did in the S. The only reason I dont have an S right now is because i'm trying to save up for a cayman S.
If you need a DD why not just pick up a beater and keep the S? I say keep the S bc you are not gonna get any enjoyments out of a 204 hp engine.

Totally different cars...never owned an S2000, but gotten to drive one.
The S2000 is almost like a go-kart in steroids....it precise, connected to the road and compared to the IS, raw. Great handling car, very balanced for the most part, push the limits and tends to oversteer.
The IS has more features, plus a back seat, and the biggest difference is the prodigous amounts of torque. Both are pretty fast on a straighline, though for some reason the IS feels way faster, guess because of the torque.
When you get into the twisties its when you really notice a difference. The IS feels heavy and sluggish, whereas the S2K is quick and nimble. Also, the IS tends to understeer in tight turns, and the S2K is pretty neutral. In both a dab of the throttle will bring the tail around though. Gotta be a bit more careful with the IS as it can quickly bite you in the rear if applying too much throttle.
