Sport has these but not Lux:
Aluminum Pedals
Non-illuminated Lexus door sills scuff plates
Sport suspension
Metal trim instead of wood

Lux has these but not Sport:
Wood trim
Sunshade
Illuminated door sills scuff plates

That's really it as both have memory seats and bi-xenon lights.

Are you sure it's metal trim? I have a Lux and my friend has a Sport and while it's been a while since I've been inside his, I could have sworn it was plastic painted silver to try and resemble aluminum.

It is probably painted plastic, I am not entirely sure since I have never been in a Sport before. I have seen pics and they looked like the standard trim that comes with the IS if you dont get any packages at all.

What he said, except that the Sport comes with 18" rims/summer tires and a Luxury can be had with the stock 17" rims/All season tires.

Also would add that if you have a Sport, you can add the illuminated door sills (like I did),
and if you have the Luxury, you can add the alloy pedals . . .

On the Canadian Lexus site, there is also a bullet indicating that the sport package includes a limited slip differential. The US site has no such bullet. I'm not sure how to interpret...

So they both have the ventilated and heated seats, and all of the other little convenient features?

Check out the IS section of the Lexus website (www.lexus.com).
Go to the Prices/Options section - it'll give you a detail listing of what is included for each package - it'll give you an idea of what equipment is available w/packages.
