I'm gonna get new shoes for my IS350 and I'm trying to figure out what color would look best. Going for the luxury look, not the rice rocket one. What color do you guys think is best? Also post your pics of SGMs with nice wheels

Gunmetal would be nice for SGM, but chrome would bring out some of the other chrome accents of the car, such as the window frame and Lexus logos...

huge 2nd, chrome just sucks. I wish the trim was easily replaceable with a black version.

I don't know where yall get your opinions from, but they're badly skewed. I will agree that there are chrome wheels that are overkill on a car, but all chrome wheels don't cheapen the look of a car.

If chrome cheapens the look, then you could definitely say that sport wheels cheapen the look of a Lexus because........the Lexus is a luxury vehicle whether you think it's sporty or not. Sports cars don't come with nav, woodgrain, and the long list of features we have in our cars. Not to mention the fact the 350 does not have a manual......there's no sport in that.

And for all the folks that will flame this, I believe the IS is sporty and I love it. I just think that chrome gets a bad wrap because of people that over-do it on their vehicles. To put chrome in a general category like above if just asinine

basically its so incredibly reflective its hard to make out any detail on the rim. chrome belongs on a box or a bubble, not a sporty lexus. an LS i might could understand if done right

These GTS's look like they are 2 piece wheels which will not be compatible with TPMS.
Anyone know if there is a way around TPMS yet?
