Unhappy Frt. lip trim - anyone noticed this?

Just happened to notice the trim on the lower front lip of my 350 isn't aligned right. See pic:

Dead center in the front, just below the lower grille. I got under the car and tried to see if I could line it back up and it doesn't look like I can. Guess it goes back to the dealer when I go in for my plates.

Makes me wonder, though ... anyone else seen this on their car?

It's meant to flex, better than tearing off when you pull off of a parking block. I'm sure you can realign it, I did on mine.

There is a mounting screw underneath, but loosening it and trying to realign the piece didn't work. Turns out it is double-layered at that point, and it's the outer layer that's sticking out.

I'll let the Lexus Experts handle it.

I have the same issue, but mine isn't as noticeable. I thought that maybe I had done something to it.

Mine is fine, but the day I went to purchase my car, they had a white one which had that problem. I was picking b/w the white one and the tungsten pearl. So i pointed it out to the salesman and it also helped me make my decision easier.

LoL if only you worked in a dealership. LOL I hope your tech didnt call in sick the day they had a class for alignment of front grills on IS350's. Not that you shouldnt take it in if you cant handle it but just dont expect them to do (or "TRY" is more like it) anything differently then you would. Not like they had a traning course on it. Good luck.

Mine is a tad off too, not quite as bad as yours. Now that the weather is warmer and my white front facia keeps getting beautifully decorated with dead bugs, I hardly notice it.

Know what you mean, but those drying towels sure catch on it at the car wash!
