You have to do the kit eventually...you're basically close to the Team Lexus Modified IS350 here:

Sorry, I overlooked this post. The rims are about $1000 each and the rubber came to $800 - but shop around there are deals to be had. The grand total after labour - mounting, installing the TPMS, blah, blah was $4500.

Hope this helps.

Other than the beautiful paint job, big brake kit, body kit, exhuast, springs and shocks(?) and the backing of Lexus, I'm almost there.

Yeah that's one nice car - I'll be done (for now) with the springs, exhaust and front lip.

That's a great pic, thanks for sharing.

Congrats!

Very sweet wheels and tires. Time to start saving to give my IS350 a nice Christmas gift...

Did some basic poking around, lowest price I saw was $750/rim but I don't know the reliability of the seller, was a simple google search for BBS rs-gt.

That's a steal if in fact that's the correct price for 19" rims! Where did you find that link - I can't find it. Watch out for exbortitant shipping and handling fees.

It was:

http://www.fast44.com/bbsrsgt18x8.html

Its for the 18s however, not the 19s and its a Yahoo! store so no indicator on how reliable, etc they are.

Yes indeed these are great wheels. I first saw these on the Blue 2is from the autoshow, maybe same one from Team Lexus. With a drop and perhaps a kit, it is an unmatched setup.

Question?
Other than perhaps the obvoius, aren't these wheels very similar to the Volk SF Winning?
I wanted the 19'' SF Winning Mercury Silver for my Blk Onyz 2is, but have really grown on the Progressiv Te. Also, TPMS for Multipiece Volks I hear are not compatible.
If these wheels are indeed very similar, I would prefer the Volks for a slight price advantage and the Japanese consistency. Damn that TPMS

Progressive TE is hot and not too flashy. The smooth face and Volk engraving is off the chain!

Most wheel manufacturers have a similar style

I've been told that the TPMS will work in Volk's 1 piece forged wheels like the progressive spoke and progressive me's. The progressive te's are also 1 piece (I believe) and should be compatible.

Yes they are similar but they both have their own uniqueness. The SF Winnings were my first choice but I really wanted the TPMS solution. Others on this board are running SF Winning wheels without the sensors.

Totally agree with you...BBS is awesome...but German Bimmer have at it.
But running a wheel for the looks only and letting go of TPMs is ridiculous. There are too many available options with TPMS. But Damn, have you seen Varok's car...
The wheels are the toughest to MOD for me because of the choices and considerations like price, style, weight, etc. For now it is ProgTe all the way.

Actually if I were to get these things for lets say, $800 a wheel, I would probably do it.
Actually not much more than an awesome set of Volks. I still have to go Jap style.
Damn indecisive!
