Default angel eyes

Is it possible to put angel eyes on our second gens? I found them for the rx300 and the is300(1) is300(2) . the one for the is300 looks like you could put on almost any car with the same headlight circumfrence. I know nothing about lighting and was just wondering, thanks.

I think 1 ring of angel eyes might look great. Just dont think they should be some ricey color. I would be interested if anyone gets it working.

Angel eyes belong on BMWs.

i have to admit the angel eyes do look pretty cool. but i agree that they should only be on bimmers. it's like what they say... imitation is the greatest form of flattery. no need to be flattering bimmer owners.

Guess there is no need for the IS500 to have better handling and road feel... since you know, that would imitate BMW.

That's not even remotely close to a similar argument. Improving the engineering dynamics of a vehicle has nothing to do with an outright ripoff of an aesthetic design.

I wouldnt mind having 1 ring around the projector. Alot of the first gen IS owners had it done so why not our cars? I see no harm in a little aesthetic upgrade regardless of the imitation.

I don't make the same distinction... One example has to do with performance, the other with looks. Both however are being compared with BMW more often then not and both are improvements (depending on who you ask) to the car. To each their own, personally if something makes my car look or perform better, another car having that technology first would definatly not keep me from doing it.

there is actually a picture of a 2nd gen IS with the angel eyes on it somewhere in this forum, maybe under lighting or something, can somebody find it and post that picture in this thread?

Wink

Here you go

I like it ...

But to be real, I dont think this will impress BWM owners or other car enthusiast.

Why would we want to turn our Lexus into a BMW look-alike?

We need to have a unique lexus "Angle Eye" type design.

P.S.

This looks like an original BMW (which i think it is), with the LEXUS Grill... LOL
