Default One the phone...

I read this in a thread months ago but I can't find it.

If I get to work and I'm in the middle of a phone call I'd like to turn off the engine without cutting off my conversation. How can I do that? I know I can pick up the phone and switch from the hands-free to the phone but I'd like to leave the speakerphone connection going and just shut off the engine.

Put the car in neutral and press the engine start/stop button. The engine will be shut off, but the car will remain in accessory mode. Once the engine is off, you can shift to Park.

How can you change from handsfree to the phone without cutting off the conversation?

you can switch from handsfree to handset without getting disconnecting, you just go under options on your phone while the call is active and it should say handset, just select it and you are good to go!!

If you have NAV, hit the "Transfer" button the screen. That disconnects the handsfree back to your phone without disconnecting the call.

My Treo has a "disconnect" on the screen so usually I just hit that instead because the "Transfer" button is greyed out while the vehicle is in motion.

Cheers,
Kermee
