Coming from the factory set at 80mph, most times I wouldn't know I was going that fast until I looked at the speedo, or saw the ring. I decided to turn it down to 60mph, while setting the RPM to 4k. I know at least now, that any time I see that ring, I'm in ticket-friendly territory.
I turned mine off. Guess I'm just not a fan of substance-less gizmos.
as gizmos go, it's probably not the best but it's definitely not the most useless. The IS likes to run. I'm surprised as I see my indicator light go on (around 80), which reminds me to slow down and avoid the nice little speeding ticket.
why would you do that, i think the light is distracting and that was the objective of lexus, that way, you DONT want the light to show up...because you barely touch the gas goin 60 and it hits that, let alone when you have it in etc mode...i keep my tach at 6000 and the speed at 75....im pretty watchful for police if i go above that...
