Default someone help....nav problem

ok heres the situation. im driving on the freeway and my nav shows that im in another city, well right now its like 10 miles off like im at home right now and it would show that im by the airport. this is the second time this has happened to me. is there anyway that i can fix this myself? theres a 2IS meet tmrw and i might need the nav

Doubtful you can fix it yourself. Sounds like you have a positioniing error in the processor and I'd say a visit to the dealer is in order.

Sometimes these things clesr up when you restart the car (like rebooting a computer), but if it's happened more than once I'd say you have a problem.

Maybe try recalibrating the nav?? Just a thought.

Check if it shows GPS in the left top corner under the arrow. If it does not there might be something with the antenna. I had a funny situation did the nav hack and did not plug in the antenna wire all the way so when i went over bumps it would stop or start working and one day it stop completely. So i went into the diagnostic menu (While pressing and holding the "INFO" switch, operate the light control switch: OFF → Turn ON → Turn OFF → Turn ON → Turn OFF → Turn ON → Turn OFF.) and you can check if there is a problem. It gave me a code so i check what it was and took out the radio again and there was the cable.

Yeah I would just call the dealer. Might be something they can help you with on the phone.. If not just take it in let them deal with it.
