radar detector, said it right on target. Detect the radar not the cops. So.. don't trust that thing 100%. I have a V1 in my car, and how I looking at it is if it save me from one ticket, it worth the money already. But still, drive safely is more important.

I was just caught driving 90 mph on a 65 mph. I know this is unforgiveable, but I learned my mistake. My record is clear and i've been driving for over 6 years now. I went way over the speed limit. Can I still attend traffic school to clear my record?

Only one. 140 in a 110. Cop was pretty good about it, dropped me down to 130 which saved me some money. Ain't gonna fight that one, especially considering I spent a half an hour up the highway at no less than 180. All in all, I don't think the cops here are on the lookout for IS's. Just not enough to attract any real attention.

If you get pulled over for this and the cop was behind you checking your speed, ask him if his speedometer was calibrated before leaving the station. By law, the speedometer must be calibrated before leaving the station if the officer wants to give you a ticket without using a gun.

Default Several

I've had several...in the past 3 months actually. My first one was when the car was just a week or so old & I was clocked at 131mph in a 60...Didn't go to jail, but was later interviewed on the news for it.

7 months later I got clocked doing 141mph in a 60 and didn't go to jail but the officer wrote me up for a 101 in a 60 instead of a 141 in a 60! Dallas sure does have some cool officers.

Within 30 days of that ticket I got 2 others but they were just small time, goin 80 in a 60 and 83 in a 60. All of these are on deferred besides the first one when I was going 131.

Just my $.02 :-)

i hate speeding tix...got one before the x mas holidays.... the cop said i was going 64 in a 35 when i think i was going below 60 because the tech didn't turn orange..ps i have it set at 60..not default... im taking the tech indicator to the supreme court...not only that our speedometer is showing us faster speeds than we are actually going...

couple questions

1. Is it apply to all state?
2. How can we know? The cop can just say yes.

and man.. if the cop really did that, I think it will just **** him off and get a ticket for sure.

I know that this is the law in TX.

Surely, if you go to court he can't lie under oath

LoL!!! I agree also. Sorry I didn't also read the post where you were only talking about getting tickets with the IS only. Never gotten a ticket on my IS yet. Only got a ticket when I had my Vdub for going 30mph+ over the posted speed limit. I find this funny because I was always getting caught for going 110mph+ and now I get a ticket for going 80mph. LoL!!!
