Default DIY oil changes on a LEASED Lexus?

Does anyone know what the requirements are for oil changes on a leased Lexus (leased through Lexus)? I wouldn't be surprised if they require SOME sort of documentation that oil changes were performed, but it would really SUCK if it requires oil changes by a Lexus dealer. I'm hoping that I can just show receipts for oil and OEM filters and possibly Blackstone UOA reports.

As my salesperson told me, you're not required to go to the dealership and have the service.

By the way, are you running stock tires with your rims? And what offsets? Coz I am thinking to have a set of 18" with 18x8 & 18x9 also...just wondering the stock tires will fit or not. Thanks.

I think my salesperson said the same thing, but I don't trust salesmen at all.

I am running the stock tires, and they actually fit better than they did on the stock 18s. If you look at the specs for our stock 18s on TireRack.com, they show measured rim widths of 8" for the front, and 9" for the rear.

In the past, showing receipts for oil and filters has worked, but since the receipt does not show proof any actual work being performed, some unscrupulous dealerships may use it against you.

A full vehicle inspection upon lease return should confirm the condition of the car if you do go that route.

Keep a log book, with your oil receipts, service receipts and warranty work..

A simple composition lined book should be fine for the term of the lease.

(I would not persent the auto to Lexus for warranty work with the K&N air filter installed.)

Or take a Pic, along with the receipt

I have an HKS filter, not a K&N, but I do plan to restore the entire intake to stock before taking it in for warranty work.

BTW, I do appreaciate the comments, but does anyone know for sure what the terms of a Lexus lease are regarding oil changes? It shouldn't be up to the dealer's discretion at all.

Follow the owners manual supplement recommendations and you're covered.

And sorry about the filter confusion ...

I will take a look at them, but I really don't care what they "recommend". I just want to know what they "require". I don't trust dealers at all, and am very picky about maintenance. If they absolutely require me to get oil changes at a dealership, then I'll probably just change it again myself after they change it.
