Default Is there anything to do for window pits?

I've read through the threads and several people mention the soft nature of the OEM windowshields and the window chips from rocks. Most actually refer to cracks or chips. What I'm talking about is more of what they call a pit. Its not a scratch, but the window isn't "broken" either. Its more of a white speck.

Anyhow, is there any polish, etc. that can smooth these out. Maybe not completely, but make them somewhat less noticeable. Thanks.

i'd like to know this as well. i have a chip in the windshield from a rock on the fwy. i'm just glad that it didn't actually crack the window cuz then it'll get bigger n bigger. i know there's a way to get rid of small cracks so you can barely even see it.

Eastwood Company makes a kit for removing scratches from glass, but it requires a hand grinder.

They have other glass repair and restoration products too, if you do a search.

I agree. I was more interested in a wipe on wipe off version. I realize it won't "fix" the pit, just make it less noticeable. Is there something like this?
