This might sound weird but everytime I pull into the garage and close it right away my car smells like it farted! At first I thought something died in the garage, but my dad was standing in the garage one day when I pulled in and we concluded that it was indeed my car that farted.. don't know if it's the brakes or what.. anyone else experiencing something like this?

How old is the car? When my car was first breaking in, it had a weird smell to it....

Exactly a month old.. it's got about 1400 miles on it..

lol, no road kill that I know of.. I really think it's my brakes.. if I pull in too fast and brake hard it reeks my entire garage!

It has to be the brakes. When I first got my car, sometimes I noticed a burning odor from the rear brakes after some spirited driving. However, I haven't noticed it lately.

I wouldn't say that it smelled like a fart, but I'm not familiar with your diet either.

If it is a sulfur like smell (rotton eggs) more than likely it's the catalytic converter, and after some heated driving, the "converter" lets out some egg smells from the sulfurous compounds in the gasoline.....its normal, and its common in all cars....(at least those with a converter)

I think the driver had some beans the other nights and couldn't hold off on the air... at least he didn't pollute public air.... only garage's air he went polute.

That's exactly what I was thinking. After some spirited driving, with the engine going full rich for a long period of time. It makes the cat work harder, the chemical reaction in the catalytic converter causes the rotten egg smell. Totally normal.
