Is it too late for me to get a clear bra? I have a paint chip the size of 1/4 of a dime. So far I do not see any visible scratches on the hood. Should I decide to move forward with a clear bra, must I touch up the chip first?
Do you recommend doing it at the dealer?

Did you do a complete detail prior to installing the bra? Also, what is better - full bra that covers the entire hood (if such is available) + bumper OR just the lower portion of the hood and the entire bumper?
Also, if I ever decide to remove it in the future, would there be discoloration?

they threw in fog light overlays... clear, yellow or blue.
i'm not sure how much up the hood it goes? never bothered to measure it. i'm assuming 18-20"? i got it before they announced the full hood protection. i think i woulda opted for the full hood if they offered it to me just so there isn't that line across the hood.
aerotect prepped it before they installed the clear bra. they sprayed some solution to strip the wax first so the clear bra could get a good adhesion to the body. not sure if there'll be any discoloration. maybe you should wait for aerotect to chime in on this thread if they're viewing or give em a call? sorry can't help you more... i passed out on the couch while reading a dsport issue they had on the table. woke up n they were done hahah.

We charge $495 for the standard protection package which includes the hood, fenders, mirrors, bumper and installation & $770 if you want the entire hood wrapped. The paint protection film is UV stable. The UV stability assures that both the protected and unprotected painted surface will fade at the same rate. Please call AeroTect with any clear bra questions.
