Because I do alot of open road travel, I am looking into have a clear bra put on my car. Of course I have a few questions regarding price and known issues or "gotchas." What price should I expect to pay for a 3M front bra? And what issues come along with putting a clear bra on the car? Thanks for the help.

Have you tried the spray on clear coat? I've heard great things about it.

3M clear bra runs anywhere between $400 to $600 for partial hood and fender, bumper, and side mirror coverage.

Issues? Only thing I can think of are detailing issues, which can be found in out Automotive Care and Detailing Forum. They should answer more of your questions.

Paid $500 when I bought the car. Coverage includes hood bumper and rear view mirrors.

I just had the bumper, hood, front of fenders (done in 18"), headlights, fog lights, mirrors, inside door handles in 3m clear. It cost me $638. The dealer wanted $695 just for the front of the fenders and hood (in 12"). Well worth the investment!!
