What do you suppose that the factory 18" chrome rims + tires (2000 miles on them) is worth? It's not that I don't like them, rather that I'd like to get a set of lighter rims from tirerack. I'd rather not go through the process of selling them if they don't command any sort of significant premium over non-chromed.

I've seen them selling on eBay for about $800 without shipping.

If you sell it locally or on CL Classifieds for pick-up, you can probably get $900 for them.

That's a bummer. Doesn't sound like the chrome plating is worth anything (even though the dealer gets away with charging $2200 extra).

Better off keeping them, I guess.

I can take some pics if interested. They're basically in "new" condition. Only 2000 miles on the car.

However, if I can't get enough for them to at least buy a new set from Tirerack, I'll just stick with what I have.

i would like to see them weight is not an issue for me. will they work on a is250 awd?

I'm not sure if it'll fit on the AWD. It's the 18" staggered wheels. Give me some time to wash the car/wheels, and I'll snap some pics. Might not happen until tonight, or tomorrow morning though.

that works for me do you have the specs on the wheels? i want the staggerd wheels if i can put it on the awd. there is so much room in the rear that i think that it will look better than the ones that i have now.

I've been searching around eBay too, and looks like you guys are right, at around $800. The chrome addition alone cost almost 3 times that. Then you have the actual wheels and 4 basically new tires on top of that.

That being the case, I'll just hang on to what I have.
