Default Do all ISx50's have a hump in the driver's footwell?

I test drove an IS250 AWD today and the hump in the driver's footwell was a bit anoying. Is this an AWD thing or do all IS's have this?

I think only the AWD has it due to the special drive train it has. The RWD and AWD has different carpets because of this. The "stupid hump" also gets hot at times also.

for AWD.

Here's a pic for reference - so the RWD's don't have this? I hope not, as I'm ordering an IS250 RWD...

My 350 is hump free also. That hump looks kind of annoying.

That's a big fat hump. I didn't know that AWD version has that.

Remember this car is sold in Japan, which has right hand drive. It was designed to have the hump on the left side (passenger side in Japan) so as not to interfere with the driver. I guess Lexus didn't want to go through the expense of retooling just for that.

I doubt that. They'll sell 10x more of them in N.A. than Japan.

I've got the hump, and it actually fits the contour of my leg just right so that it sort of rests on it as i drive....i applauded it at first before i realized not everyone is the same height as me or has their seat in the same position

All AWD versions of the IS250 have this as well as the AWD GS300. This is due to the tranny design causing the tranny tunnel to have that abnormal hump.
