Default How much is this IS250 worth?

My friend found a used IS250 RWD she wanted to get. There's no price listed right now, but she's waiting to hear back from the seller on a price. The car is a base model automatic with no other options or packages. It does have 18" wheels and 7500 miles on it. How much should she ask for it? I know that the MSRP is $31,750, but what is a good price to get this for?

I've barely seen no packages with 18", but anyway, IMO I believe your friend can able to target at around $26,000 - $27,000. Lexus is having a sale and I even got an email from dealership saying that they give away big discount on the new IS's. Maybe she can consider having a new one instead if the price of the used one isn't right. Good luck~~

I'm actually pricing out 250's for a friend of mine and I think the MSRP on the 250 with the 18's and accessory package is $33,019. And dealers are easily giving 1000-1500 off MSRP. So it might just be to her advantage to get a new one... As long as she can find a '06 that she likes...

I got my 250 but with Manual Tranny for 29k new (just over 2k off).

I would peg her car to be worth 27k used. Any higher and buy new. No real significant improvements for the new model, but expect at least 2k off sticker on new.

Is your friend interested in a 250 with a manual trans?

I tried to get her to go for it, but she can't drive stick and doesn't want to learn...

We do what we can, but in the end, it's still their choice.
