door lock arm/disarm beep

i know on my ES, i had a little volume switch where i could make the door locking/unlocking sound louder or softer or even turn it off. does the IS have a volume switch?

Nope... it's part of the personalized settings. I had them set mine at the loudest.

i didn't see that on the sheet on mine when i did it. i would like to have the sound louder. do you have a pdf or something?

Nope. But I read about it somewhere... so I asked the dealer when I had my personalized settings done, and he told me that they can set it at the loudest setting. Its now at the loudest setting, and is at a very nice level. Perfect for when you are in the general area of the car (like in a parking garage) and looking for your car.
