RoRo car is nice and it is suited for him. Of course he is doing all this for track purpose only. Now, if he goes around town in those seat, rims and plenty of sticker than you can call him ricey up his ride but he is not. He is representing the ISx50 at the track and i am very happy that someone got extra money laying around and mod the crap out of it. I support RORO 100%. Now RoRo go out to the track and beat those bmw up lol....good luck

Please post pic of your engine bay. i would love to see a charger in it.

Wow the most ignorant statement of the year.

Kind of reminds me of the Honda-tech idealogy: "If you can't beat them, flame them"

RoRo, I respect what you're doing, putting a lexus on another standard, and showing the potential of the IS. I have no idea why people are flaming you for the weight reduction, as in any racing weight is the most significant variable for performance.

Break into the 12's then the 11's then hopefully 10's, and show these yuppy wanabe idiots what true motorsports is.

And remember, "Many are hesistant to appreciate the very best- which of course of part of the appeal"

Keep it up, goodluck, and Godbless.

since he has already blown the warranty on the car might as well do a tranny swap and get a 6 speed in it. either that or he should have waited for the IS-F.

I love the fact he is doing something different, evos and sti's are dime a dozen at the track it seems, its good to see someone take the lexus to a different level, shows there is alot of track potential to the IS car. for those of you who think this is redicoulous, think about all the people who do the exact same thing to there M3's vettes and various other 50k+ cars, i dont think its an issue of the value of the car, its the fact its something not seen yet.

awesome, post up more pics!

I must admit, when I first saw this post I thought, WTF! Why would anyone do that to the interior of their luxury car? But now that I know he is tracking the car, I feel much better and I encourage his efforts.

Keep the updates and pics coming RoRo! I'd love to see a video or two of the car at the track someday.

Good Luck!

So what's the latest 0-60 time and 1/4 mile time on your car now?

BTW, excellent work.

RoRo, what size and type of rear wheels are you using for drag racing? Also what type and size tire?

Obviously this car's purpose in life is not to please the average Lexus driver. It does have a very welcomed and important purpose for the rest of us "mild modders". We need more mods and they will only come with guys like RoRo pioneering the limits of this vehicle. RoRo didnt ask anybody if they liked the way his racing seats looked or if he could get a grade on the styling of his interior. He's building a track car, a trailered one at that.

Hey RoRo, have you looked into any brake options? At least new pads and rotors?
