Default IS350 1, Armadillo 0

Was coming back from the track today after only getting in 3 runs since it was extremely crowded (and conditions sucked) when I was driving along 520, a local road which leads from Orlando to I-95.

Suddenly an armadillo ran out which I couldn't avoid, it clipped my front bumper, then the roof right above the front windshield and tumbled off the back. Got to the next gas station and checked, the clear bra did its job well - no scratches, just some armadillo residue which I washed off. Nothing on the roof or trunk, hoping it stays that way when I get to see it during the daylight.

Ok an update, washed the car this morning - no scratches, dings or dents. Just had to scrub off (with my wash mit) the remaining armadillo residue.

My Llumar clear bra really withstood the armadillo test since I hit it doing about 75mph. Plus the paint stood up really well.

The armadillo didn't make it, but his last trip was memorable.

Hit the front bumper (bra covered), then deflected off the hood (bra covered), then the top of the windshield, just below the roof line and then off into the wild unknown.

May he/she rest in Armadillo peace.

Good for you that you didn't have any dents in your car, armadillo's are known to cause some pretty serious damage to cars here in TX.
