Not only will it kill your cat, but it will kill your OEM wideband O2 sensor. Zirconium does not like lead when it is being used for oxygen sensing.

10% Ethanol is/can be used anywhere in the country these days, and all cars being sold in the US must be/are 10% Ethanol safe.

But a car can only use E85 if it says so in the manual. This is not the case of the IS.
