parts of mine are starting to peel off and i tried using a heat gun to warm it up and stick it back on.. but it doesnt seem to work.. anyone got suggestions?

Not sure. There were no bubbles or rips and it went on super easy. Was hand washing the car a few days later and the drivers side peeled off and broke when I sprayed it with the hose. To make it even I tried pulling the pass side off and it was like bonded on there. Took a while to get the pass side one off. Now both lenses are dull and sticky

I guess it really pays to not be an early adopter on some of these mods
as it may not be worth the trouble. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

The AeroTect red outs are designed to fit exactly over the amber portion of your tail light. If positioned correctly they are a perfect fit. If you have had trouble with your installation you may return your red-outs to:

LaVerne, CA 91750

Please include your name, address and telephone number along with your red-outs.We will send a new (slightly longer) set to you. Please note that your replacement red outs may require trimming.

Mine doesn't fit at all no matter how I position it. Had it returned for another pair only to have it get better on the rounded portion, but was still short 3mm. Very noticeable imo when the red of the light just stands out like it is highlighted.

Out of curiosity though, how is it supposed to fit "exactly" when it "may require trimming?"

he said the replacements ones might require trimming because its slightly longer.
