to all who know about the recall
i did get my car the first week it came out and i did get the notice for the recall. However, my seat belt has never acted up and i didn't even take my car in for the service. Itseems fine, can i not go in for the recall.

I did not have any problems with the seat belts. I figure since the 5000 mile service is free, and I have b-pillar rattle, I'll just do it all at once. I got free gas out of this. Maybe you guys should take care of it when you take your vehicle in for service or warranty. Lexus must honor this recall no matter when you take it in.

what i learned from this thread.
hahaha..
- go to lexo dealership with an empty gas tank!
- kiss a little *** and see what you get. (color seat-belt wise)
- also ask them to do 5000 mile service while there at it!
thanks again guys for all the info and feedback.
for those who complimented my car, i like you more now.
on other note.
i was on 405 north. desert sage metallic pulls up right next to me in traffic.
RIGHT NEXT TO ME.
i hated it.
it wasnt pretty. and it was a 250. (sorry 250 owners)
little engine rev took goooood care of that car.

I made an appointment with my dealership to get the 5K service, seat belt recall and personalized settings taken care of. They told me that it was a good thing I called since they would have to order the parts for the seat belt recall. You would think for sometime this wide spread, they would keep all these parts in stock.
