Carbon Fiber Hood/Trunk
Need to get some feedback:
How many of you guys would be interested in a carbon fiber hood? Trunk?
I have an offer to get them made. Would you guys be interested in buying. Again, this is not made by an unknown company. This will be quality made. Post some replys, thx

im sure some people would be interested but not alot. I know there is a guy who is trying to reach 12s and im sure he would be interested. It really depends on how they are going about with their car. But seeing that the 2IS hood is already extremely light, I see no significant performance gains by carbon fiber hood.

LMS sells carbon fiber hoods as well...
I know RoRo has one and I've seen some other posts with LMS carbon hoods.
But as taejin09 said, the IS hood is already pretty light. I think RoRo weighed the stock hood and the carbon hood and the difference was very small...as in a few pounds if that.

since the weight reduction these two mods do wouldn't matter much to the overall balance, then it would be a probable cosmetic mod; and if that's the case, then the color of the car would be the key to make it look clean.
