Question Dealer quoted me same price for 07 and 06?

So I went to the dealer the other day and he quoted me around $37,000 for the 2006 is350 MSRP around 40 and today they called and quoted $37,000 or a 2007 is350, same color, same package, same options... I asked him 3 times if that was the correct price and he said yes...going down today at 5 to look at it..but shouldn't the 07 be more expensive?

No. You should be able to get the 2007 for the same price... However, if you really negotiate, you will be able to geth the 2006 right around invoice.

The base price of the 07 350 is only $265 more than the 06 350.
The paperwork on my 07 confirms this.

Where in FL; what dealer?

In the past, I've had luck buying a "next year model" during August because the dealers have some special factory incentives, even on new year cars, and supposedly their allotments get increased for August sales. YMMV, but good luck!

JM Lexus in southflorida on sample...huge dealership, largest in the world or something..Turns out it was an IS250 not 350, they only have black/tan in the 350 now, so im going to wait for black on black..just not sure if I should go with the 06 or 07

They are very good people. Shannon is their internet sales person, and hangs here sometimes. IMHO, wait a bit for the '07, for some nice little improvements, and one years' less depreciation which should hopefully cover the price increase.
