I just got back from my dealer about an hour ago. I drove a 250AWD and a 350. I want the IS250RWD, but my dealer told me since I'm in the Northeast that it is a special order only. Fine, I'll order it the way I want with the options I want. But now I'm told I cannot order an '06 because it's too late, and I can't order an '07 because there are no specs for it yet. I'm confused because a user on here said he's getting an '07 the first week of September, which lead me to call Lexus directly...

... and they told me the dealer is right, and that the '07 doesn't come out until around October/November. The specs have not been released on the '07 and I have to wait 4-6 weeks before I can even order it.

So what's the truth? Am I getting the runaround everywhere? Can I get a IS the way I want it?

Probably true. You couldn't order an '06 at this time last year. You had to wait until Oct.

Some people here are saying they ordered an '07, but in actuallity they're likely getting an '07 from allocation. One guy claims he ordered an '07 on 5/11/06 (which I find that VERY hard to believe), and it's due to arrive Sept 1. The dealer may have taken his order then, but it certainly didn't go into the system on that date.

i dunno why they say theres no specs on it when the 07 brochures have been out and i'm pretty sure the dealers have at least seen em if not have em already. hmmm all i can say is... try another dealer? or another salesperson. some sales people have no idea what's going on.

My lexus dealer gave me the print outs they emailed him with pricing and everything. I have them infront of me right now. It has the pricing but I don't want to post that (for now). Hope this help everyone. enjoy.

The packages cost $500 less but I'm sure the sunroof cost a lot.

Is there a way to get the scuff plates without buying a package? Also, can you pm me or email me the prices that you have?
