Long post but I had to share it with you...
Just want to share my experience with IS 350. (Sticker for this car was $44,678).
I bought it in January, 2006 and I currently have about 8,000 miles on the car. When I brought the car for 5,000 miles service, I was told that there is an oil leak. The car was at the dealer for 3 days. I complained also about driver seat making some squeezing noise and it was replaced at the same time as well. (I am only 190lb). Service advisor told me that I am the first one with these kinds of problems. Drove the car for about 3,000 miles and started noticing some oil spots under the car. Called Lexus service department and brought it in again. This time the problem was much more complicated. It had an oil leak somewhere behind an engine and they had to take half of the car apart. When I came to dealership to check on the status of the repair, I saw my car without engine, transmission and suspension. The car has only 8,000 miles on it. It took them two weeks to repair it and I was told that I have to bring back in because they didn’t have several hoses and they are on order. Forgot to mention, I also had front passenger seat replaced at this time for the same problem as I had with driver seat. Not to mention that dealer also had to replace front brakes and rotors, because the steering wheel vibrated. Today I was driving from work and in the middle of the freeway a very severe knocking sound came from engine. Had it towed to the dealer again.

Damn, sorry to hear about your problems. Definatly take hiphop's advice and research the lemon laws and see if it qualifies. It also won't hurt to get in contact with Lexus corporate if possible.

long story short, my family has a ls430, it's our 3rd one. we took it in for service for the same defect 3 times (lemon law is 6 where i'm from)... we were so irritated that this could happen and sent a letter to lexus corporate (certified mail to make sure the right people received and read it) they offered us a new LS at a price difference between the year we had 2004 and the current year 2005. We ended up paying $4,000 to upgrade to a brand new car =)
so as previously suggested, if i were in your shoes i'd mail lexus corporate. they are very understanding of their customers and want you to be happy and become a repeat customer.
