Default Driving the IS 350 in the snow

Hello,

I live in Omaha, Nebraska, and we have fairly brutal winters here. I was just wondering how the IS350 handles on snow and ice. I have an AWD Toyota 4Runner now and it handles great on ice and snow. The reason I'm asking about the 350 RWD vs the 250 AWD is b/c I like the more powerful IS350 engine The 250 engine seems kind of week (on paper at least, I could be wrong).

Also, are they planning on coming out with an AWD version of the 350?

Thanks

There are numerous threads already on this very subject. I don't think much has changed since then. I'm sure a search for "350 snow" will do the trick.

so you are thinking about trading it in? Go to the dealer and test drive both, id do the 250 first because if you do the 350 first its going to make the 250 look pretty bad

Neighbor. If you have to drive the 350 in the winter you may want to rethink the 350 unless you are willing to get winter or at least all season tires. I think you would be fine with a 350 and the right set of tires as the car has a great traction control system. I test drove the 250 AWD but wanted the extra power.

Since I have use of an SUV in winter I'm going to get Michelin Pilot Sport all season tires for use on the day after it snows.
