Default 07 IS250 vs. 06 IS350

Any opinion which one I should get? Now with great discount on 06 model, the price difference b/w '06 IS350 and '07 IS250 is only about $2000. This is for my wife and she doesn't really care, but I rather get an IS350 since it's not that much more. Also, is the insurance premium alot higher for IS350? Thanks.

I'd take 350. $2000 for an extra 100HP.

Another vote for the 350... No reason to even ask the question IMHO.

can't go wrong with the 350 if budget allows

....and you don't need AWD, or don't want a manual

This would be a no brainer if they were the same price OR if your wife wants the power, but the 250 is two grand cheaper AND its an 07 (a number she prob cares about more than the 100hp) so my vote is to pocket the two grand and get the 250.

Yeah, IS350.

Also, if the 06 350 and the 07 250 are only 2K apart... does that meant that the 06 250AWD is the same price as the 07 250?

If thats the case, 06 all the way, for a 350 or a 250AWD

if its same options.. 350 hands down.. but if its navi250 vs. non-navi350.. then i would have to think about it abit.

Thanks for all your responses. It's '07 IS250 with Navi/HID vs. '06 IS350 Navi. I guess majority prefers IS350. I will call my insurance company tomorrow and will decide. Thanks again.

OK I hate being rude but if you get the 250 over 2K and goes on about performance mods in 2 months you'll kill yourself...(over a pair of HID's)

Matt =)

If it's for your wife, and she doesn't care, then pocket the $2000. Buy the 250. If your wife is also like 99.9% of other wives out there, that extra power will never be used anyhow. And the 250 *should* also have lower insurance rates.
