I was looking on the internet and found a company that sells a unit that is suppose to disable all those annoying functions on the navigation system while moving. Things like the "i agree" screen, and not being able to input phone or address buttons.

I have seen the hack system on these forums but I am very concerned about cutting wires and voiding my warranty. The car is only a week old!

Please let me know if anybody has installed this device and how difficult it is to install.

I know the IS model is not on their list, however it is the same navigation system, so I would assume it works.

This will not work on the newest gen of Nav in the 2006,07 ISX50

 

Really won't work? Did you ask the company? I cannot seem to get a hold of them. It seems like if it should work in the new navigation systems of the other models, it should work for the IS too...

 

Good find LAguy...I checked and can't find 2IS on their application list. Therefore, I email and ask about it. Hopefully they'll answer this ASAP.

I just called them and they said that this device will not work with the 2IS. Too bad....
