Ok im pissed off now
i see everyone on here with 40k out the door with Nav+ ML. WTF! i got my ride for 40k w/ nothing on it. 
i feel like going into Lexus and giving my **** back. im about to call my dealership up to trade or something. would yall do the same?

If you trade it in, you will be burned. I see that 06's in CA go for invoice. Which means you will get 3-4K less than that on a used one. If you paid full price at 40K... then you paid 4K over invoice. So you lose that, and another 3K. Total 7K loss+Tax.
In CA, the tax is what 8%... so you spent 37K for a base IS with 18" wheels+ Perferred acc package? WHich is about right, if you paid Full MSRP.
When did you buy your IS? If you bought it recently, then you should have negotiated a better deal.
