Anyone with IS 350 have tires NOT staggered?

yup..that sounds about right. But I don't think the profile of the winter tire will be the same..winter tires definitely have a higher profile, which will not be a problem with the IS's wheel wells

I live in Wisconsin and last year when I got my 350, I was hoping to put 17" with snows for the winter. There was a delay in getting wheels at that time (either aftermarket or OEM) so I was forced to put snow skins on my factory 18's for the winter. As most of you already know, the car with the stock 18" wheels and summer tires is absolutely undriveable with even the smallest amount of snow. Although the Pilot Alpins did get through the snow when necessary, I would not consider this to be the ideal set up. The 255 width is just too wide for a car with such little weight on the rear. If you live in a moderate area where you will only have occasional snow and it doesn't stick around all winter, this would be fine. I plan on changing to a 17" non-staggered arrangement this year. If anyone is interested in a set of staggered 18" Pilot Alpins with under 4000 miles on the, drop me a note.
